What is minecraft doing on there.
It's popular sure, but it isn't important.
Minecraft is proof you don't need a big corporation or promotion to make an indie game successful in this day and age all you need is a little imagination and creativity, also the fact that it proves there is still a mature and big audience for pc sandbox games, so i'd say its actually one of the more important ones actually.

They missed SWAT3 :(
Total Annihilation and Dungeon Keeper. Oh fuck yes.
When will we ever get a game just like Dungeon Keeper again?

I want to play Freelancer now but I can't be bothered installing it
Everytime I hear someone appreciate Morrowind instead of bashing it for its graphics I get a little happier overall.

Isn't there a game called Dungeons on Steam? It has similar gameplay I think.

Not at all.
Dungeons on Steam only uses the grid system and having minions to do your bidding.
But Dungeon Keeper, there is a game that I loved.
why the fuck is Bioshock on this list

Notice the JUST LIKE.
I've played Dungeons. Had 3 more levels to go. Cleaned up the messy big bunch of autosaves. Could no longer continue because the "continue" button gathered hidden data or whatever from the save files, even though the save could be in the middle of a map whilst the "continue" button had saved that you had already finished it meaning it made no sense that they had any connection whatsoever.
Too boring to replay, kinda, dunno, maybe sometime later.
But definitely nothing like Dungeon Keeper.
X-com on the list of important games? What a surprise (Well, not as much of a surprise, as much of a great fact). Took them long to finally get to it.
