what will he be using it for
Work, he just wants something that will last some time
You don't need the videocard. You have a H67 motherboard so you can use the onboard video of the CPU which will be fine for just work.
Ok I was thinking of that because he doesn't really play games
The i5-2500k has better intergrated graphics than the i5-2310. Really depends on the price difference.
Thanks, that will still fit the budget then i removed the gpu
-snip-
K is like 20$ more than the regular anyways.
not quite sure what you're going with since you haven't updated the OP, but get a 2500, not the 2500k. Its GPU is actually better than the 6450 I believe, anyways.
Updated OP
the silent pros are not very good at all
http://www.komplett.dk/k/ki.aspx?sku=623444 cheaper and so much better
cheaper RAM

Ok thanks updated the op
Looks done, then. Just make sure that your dads case he has already accepts ATX boards, and isn't an mATX case.
He is getting my old case, the Coolermaster 690 II advance
Why not get an mATX H67 and a mATX form factor case?
Seems pointless getting all of those expansion slots on the ATX motherboard and surely smaller would
be better for a work computer.
Also, maybe I missed something but why bother getting a 650w PSU?
Something like this would be more than enough and is half the price.
Already have case
My dad could need more HDD or gpus in the future
I suppose, unlikely that he'll get a GPU though for work.
Yes but he is actually starting to play call of duty 4 because I showed it to him
But he is really really bad at it
A good 500w is fine for at least a GPU up to probably a 6870, you really don't need 650w
