this happens especially when i'm playing a game or surfing the web Operating System: Windows 7 Professinoal 32-Bit Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology EP45-UD3P Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz (4CPUs) Memory: 2048 MB out of the blue when i click (or press) something it has two options work freeze the animation when the second option happens it becomes contagious and then everything starts to freeze, even my mouse i've had this problem for a long time now and it gets very annoying
Please describe the issue in detail, how does it respond when enable caps lock? Can you access the start menu? Is it possible to run a program while this is happing? A common cause of those symptoms is that a process running with a high priority has either crashed or stopped responding temporarily. Because of the priority, other processes are forced to wait for it to complete, and the OS is left only partially responsive. A full spec of your computer would also be helpful.
Before this happens, or when it happens, try opening resource monitor to check whats using the resources including hard disk, network, processor and memory. (Type resmon into start menu search, or run)
