For one last time before Election Day, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will share a stage -- and it could be pretty awkward in the wake of a contentious debate Wednesday during which the candidates traded insults and never shook hands.
Tonight, the two presidential nominees will attend the annual Alfred E. Smith dinner in Manhattan where they are expected to deliver remarks poking fun at themselves.
The dinner -- a white-tie fundraiser put on by the Catholic Church, in honor of former New York Gov (and first Catholic governor of the state) Al Smith -- is a longstanding tradition for presidential candidates.
Omg I forgot about this tradition, holy shit
This was the 2012 one

This should apparently be a livestream of the proceedings, though it's from some random ass weird channel
The dinner, which is taking place at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, starts at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time, but Trump and Clinton are expected to speak closer to 9:00. The dinner can be watched via the embedded YouTube stream. It will also be broadcast live on C-SPAN, and C-SPAN will be streaming it via their website as well so long as you have a cable subscription.
fuck me the Obama middle name thing got me good
Will Trump really be able to comprehend the idea of just having light self-aware bantz
Maybe Trump got this mixed up with the debates and he'll try to make an actual argument tonight
This is going to be a disaster, I can feel it.
I can feel the awkward tension already. Its like watching two people angrily argue then go have dinner with them
Just hearing the title made me cringe a little bit, this will be the most awkward and scathing political event this year
Hillary will make some sort of cringey joke and Donald will use it to go on a full political rant, ignoring the light-heartedness of the occasion.

Trump has pretty great comedic timing though, like when asked about whether he would recognize the peaceful transition of power and he said he would leave us all in suspense.
The end of Mitts speech is so relevant to this election

I think both candidates need to realize this. It's not helpful to personally hate one another

Well the channel is "DONALD TRUMP SPEECHES & EVENTS" :v:
That shoulder tap.
Wow, he's being passive aggressive in his "jokes". Not surprised.

This is gonna be more awkward than thanksgiving after grandma says some ignorant shit from 1955 but nobody feels like calling her out on it so everybody just stops talking altogether
I'm gonna have to watch this later, but be sure to give me the scoop here guys. I'm betting it'll devolve into chaos and I hope not to be disappointed.
"Pardon me."

So far, it's been pretty tame. Trump's up first, and he's digging on himself about as much as Hillary.
Eh that watergate one was kinda flat.
It suddenly got awkward.
oh god this suddenly got horribly awkward
Nevermind, he's getting boos now for all the shit he's flinging at Clinton.
Oh god stop the Melania joke was good just stop now.
hes goin too hard
He was doing just fine, now its just cringe. Oh well.
