I need to install a program to edit some sound files and such, but it says that I need Windows.NET framework installed to use. Okay, do I get a download, and when I install it, I get greeted with this message:

So, I go and check everything, I restart my computer, yada yada yada

And it still doesn't work. A minute later, while typing this, it says that I already have 4.0 installed. So I repair the client, and restart again, and trying to install Soundforge still doesn't work and says that I need 1.1 and SP1
I know people are going to ask, I'm running Windows 7 Untimate 32-bit with no service packs.
Get the service packs then try again
