Just something I've been working on over the course of the week.
For the most part it's done structurally, but I think I wanna go back and add some more synths in the higher frequencies, and probably put a more powerful sub underneath it all. This laptop I'm on right now is slowwww, so a lot of my tracks end up coming out minimalistic just for the sake of saving CPU.
To me it sounds like dubstep as it should be.

the filter thing on that bass sounds cheesy with the resonance
maybe it's because it's "too clean"
I see what you mean, but I guess I was kind of experimenting with combining a sort of acid-esque texture to the dubstep feel. Perhaps it doesn't fit as well as I hoped it would.
I'll turn down the resonance on my next workthrough and see if it sounds better.
