The price will go down once they prove it's viable.
This doesn't sound safe. Either way, 5 minutes of weightlessness is really the only cool think about this, but that can be found in one of those wind tunnel things.

By "Space", they mean flying in very low orbit, which won't cause nasty things like bone cramps from exit. I'd probably trust them, since they're really doing their best to make this as safe as possible.
I hope this becomes cheaper in the future since one of my life goals is to visit space before i die.

Those 500 people will make it cheaper for the next 500.
Who was that goldmember that got tickets to this? I remember a thread about it ages ago.
Even if I had the money I wouldn't go on some of the first trips. I'm not usually paranoid about something like this, but once you're going up there it's totally out of your control.
We are finally getting there buddy. We are finally getting there.......
For the first space tourism flights ever I'm actually pretty surprised it's that cheap. Think of what this means for the future, if this all works out it may be a safe assumption that all of us may get to go to space during our lifetime. Going into space for 3 hours, that thing people have looked up at and wondered for as long as we have existed, isn't cool?
