Shame Banished isn't on there, it's one of the most relaxing games I've played.

Or having your entire village slowly die of hunger with the beautiful silence of snow in the background :v:
Red Faction Guerilla :v: or cruising around in GTA V.

Also, when the AI fucks up and decides to remove all the food from the barn and place it on the ground instead and they all starve to death because they're not allowed to eat food off the ground.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1/2/3 Planet Coaster is for me really relaxing, just building your park and see how you want from 4 rides to having the largest coaster of the land is pretty neat
when minecraft was young, i used to enjoy just walking around and enjoying the music. the sound of the footsteps and the music made it very therapeutic
I find wandering around the small area of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter incredibly calming. I wish there were more games where you could just walk around a small town.
This post made me go back and play Dear Esther again. Almost forgot it had such a great soundtrack
Hatred isn't on that list? You'd think that after a stressful day, you'd want to play a murder simulator in its purest form.
most relaxing game I've ever played was journey. what an incredible experience
Maybe not exactly the definition of relaxing, but for some reason playing good old Doom relaxes me

Although sometimes you're supposed to act quickly, Eufloria has the perfect vibes for relaxation. Watching your machines work in Factorio also helps.
It's a shame Journey isn't on PC. That's one of the most relaxing games I've ever played.
I totally agree Euro Truck Simulator 2 is relaxing. Listen to some nice music and have a cup or two of coffee while driving. It's surprisingly fun. I like to set weather to maximum rain too for atmosphere. Also flight simulators and exploring underwater in GTA V. Sometimes Poker Night at the Inventory/Poker Night 2.
None of the Myst games? Wow.
any driving game is my go to game to relax
Runner up: Any open-world sandbox game with driving and an explorable city. I used to drive around to unwind in games like Saints Row or San Andreas or Just Cause 2.
No Journey? Bogus.
Journey to me was one of the most obnoxious of games to play.
dwarf fortress
dark souls [editline]8th October 2016[/editline] guys get it hahaha [editline]8th October 2016[/editline] i should kill myself
I actually agree with that. I find it incredibly relaxing to put on an audiobook while playing through the souls games as I explore.
I actually agree with that. I find it incredibly relaxing to put on an audiobook while playing through the souls games as I explore.
its relaxing for me because it lets me get my anger out so its like I mean it works so like yeah
any driving game is my go to game to relax
Yeah man I love playing destruction derby 2 on PS1 to lay back and relax the music and gameplay is very calming
