The whole fascination in Call of Juarez was the whole wild west setting, in my opinion. Making it modern day is kind of stupid.
This is stupid, I liked Call of Juarez because it was old west, Now days how can you give that same feeling? Cowboy hunting down crips and bloods....

I have always been in love with the Call of Juarez games, but making them modern day is just stupid, and ruins most of the feeling!
But even though I'm saying I don't like it I also know that I'll have to buy it, just cause.

Cod 1 WWII, COD 2 WWII, COD 3 WWII, Cod 4 modern, call of juarez western times, call of juarez 2 western, call of juarez cartel moder.
Call of Juarez a perfect example of a generic Fps, not bad but nothing innovative.

Call of Duty moved from World War II to modern day wars.
Call of Juarez moved from wild west to modern day. It has zero to do with any actual wars.
That's kind of a huge difference.

Not really. The first level only had the brothers fighting in the civil war for the north, but then they turn into deserters and nothing else actually takes place in the war.
Loved the wild west theme the first two had, but as long as they keep the intense firefights and awesome simple cover system the 2nd one had, I'm sold

The cartel-gang idea is actually really good.
The fact they only just decided to announce this makes me suspicious. I liked the idea of the series and SOME of the gameplay but it was really hit and miss.
I'm still waiting for Dead Island from Techland. :colbert:
write the cartel then change the ar with ua and add a R what you get? the cuartel = basement
I like the idea.
