Wyoming lawmakers pushed forward legislation to explore how the state would respond if the country fell into economic and political turmoil.
The so-called doomsday bill, passed in the Wyoming House on Friday, would create a special task force to study ways the state would handle such crises as a food shortage to a government shutdown. Some provisions that will be explored include Wyoming forming its own army and issuing its own currency.
The task force formed by the bill would include state lawmakers, the head of Wyoming's Department of Homeland Security and the state attorney general.
The bill must pass two more House votes before it reaches the Senate, according to the Casper Star-Tribune.
So far, no word if the task force will explore solutions for a Zombie Apocalypse, as the Center For Disease Control has done.

Well, now I know who invented the tinfoil hat.
the name sounds silly, but this is actually useful
The bill doesn't mention a zombie apocalypse.
Wyoming lawmakers must be zombies.
We are pretty much on the brink of both economic and political crashes so this is just on time
im sure most FPers are already prepared for at least one doomsday scenario.
im sure most FPers are already prepared for at least one doomsday scenario.
I prepare for economic and the collapse of society. I'm not seeing the world exploding this year. To counter this I have an escape plan, survival training and tons of weapons/ammo.
im sure most FPers are already prepared for at least one doomsday scenario.
Wasn't there one guy who made a thread on how he'd survive the apocalypse because of all the ammo he was stockpiling?
With no mention of food or water.
Zombie apocalypse will never happen because everybody is already too well prepared for it.
Zombie apocalypse will never happen because everybody is already too well prepared for it.
Well that really depends on how it would spread, the symptoms, and the zombie's physical state.
My Doomsday plan: If not dead, drive the fuck away as fast as possible.
Too bad when civilization collapses from the explosion of Yellowstone, this bill wont be of any use.
I don't disagree with this, it is better to have a plan and in a time like that a solid plan is what people need.

Do you only get Fox News down there?
Do you only get Fox News down there?
Don't you have to pay to get Fox?
honestly my doomsday plan is to play xbox in my basement until the power goes out then make it up as i go
and i bet i will survive longer than any of you
I have a can of spam and a few rifles, i'm sure everything will go peachy.
[editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
Well it's not actually spam.
[editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
It's called "prem".
i've played left 4 dead and rage, i think i can survive the apocalypse
the name sounds silly, but this is actually useful
As long as they don't drop too much money into it.
Don't you have to pay to get Fox?
Technically yes in that Fox News is not a free over-the-air channel but basic cable should include it.

I'm surprised no one has inquired into this. Maybe I'm the only person to have not heard of it?

There were a few articles in this section on it I think awhile back.
Fallout 3 prepared me for the post-apocalyptic world.

Gonna go get some stimpacks
Vodka.
Oceans and oceans of vodka.
Zombie apocalypse will never happen because everybody is already too well prepared for it.
Well depends. If it's resurrected dead it's probably to the point where the bodies have decayed so much that walking would be an impossible task for them. Infection won't be an issue because, like I said, decayed so much that it'd be impossible for a zombie to walk or at least very rare to see one that does. And I'd give the whole ordeal a week and a season boxset of Friday Night Lights before the undead fuckers just decay or break apart to the point where they just no longer become a threat. Or just wait till winter and the bodies will just break apart themselves.
Don't we have a network of underground bunkers where the government would go in the case that shit gets so bad they have to go into secret? Like there's bomb shelters outfitted with sweet accommodations for those who are politicians.
