Woot, i can't wait. Unlike the other people who flip shit, I like walking in my captains quarters and making my character look nice. It further immerses me into the game.

You can use real life money to:
Subscribe
Buy Game Time Cards which are then converted to Plex, which can then either be used to extend your sub by a month, or sell for Isk.
and more recently buy varying amounts of Aurum (clothing store cash) with real life money now.
Frankly, I think time should have been spent on better things, rather than somehting that isn't really all that useful at all. But at least they way they're doing it now should hopefully avoid the disaster when they first brought the Nexus Store out.
I should get back into the game. haven't played it for long eventhough it's a great game.
Unfortunately, it's impossible speak to other characters in stations so anything below the chest level will not even matter as your portrait cannot view that part of the body.

They haven't added a thing clothing wise since they introduced them.
And since just about all of these have been in the client but just not available, they're just finishing what they've added.

There have been some items added, at least I'm sure they have.
Developers concerned by what their players think about their games, now only if every developer was that way.
I want to see an update where you can walk around and interact with other pilots...
Because im always wondering what that extra door is in the station when you dock...

I remember watching a video about being able to go into the station, interact with others and set up shops/booths or something. I honestly can't really remember but I'll try and find the video again, I'm not sure if I'll have any luck. I'm not sure if it's still planned or on hold but they initially said it would be available when they finished Incarna.

It was the 2008 fanfest beta.
I think the only issue they have now is optimizing the graphics so people's PCs don't explode when they try to render more than two characters, they have the tech working just fine.

Great. While real, non-carebears spend it on actual ships. I could fit a really nice Heavy assault cruiser with that money.

Lets not start this and end it with not everyone is like you, some people like to play dress-up, while others like to play blow-up. No reason we can't have both. You aren't forced to do either.

I spend most of my cash on ships, I haven't bought anything clothing related for like 3 months.
I rarely find myself in a position that would be sensible to PVP, so I have to spend ISK in other places.
If the clothes weren't so stupidly expensive, I'd buy it up. I want to dress like a space admiral, not a greasemonkey.
If the clothes were all around 1 dollar they'd be 10x more popular
