Earlier this week, leaked information was released regarding the new killstreaks and perks for the new upcoming game MW3. Interesting enough, they finally decided to remove the tactical nuke which gave a unfair advantage for people playing at a higher caliber. We will then have the ability to determine whether or not the Juggernaught Suit is a suitable replacement for the nuke.
Assault Killstreaks
4 Kills = Care Package
5 Kills = IMS 3 or 4 placeable mines that cannot be affected by stun or flash grenades
5 Kills = Predator Missile
5 Kills = Sentry Gun
6 Kills = Precision Airstrike
7 Kills = Attack Helicopter
7 Kills = Little Bird Flock (Mini Choppers Patrol The Map)
9 Kills = Little Bird Gaurd (Big Helicopter follows you around the map and protects you)
9 Kills = Mortar Team (5 Predator Missiles go off at the same time)
10 Kills = Talcon (Mini Robot Tank)
12 Kills = AC130
12 Kills = Pavelow
15 Kills = Juggernaught Suit
Support Killstreaks
4 Kills = UAV
5 Kills = Counter UAV
5 Kills = Ballistic Duffel – Drop Juggernaught perk for the whole team, not jugg suit
5 Kills = Airdrop Trap – Drops a hacked care package
8 Kills = Sam Turret
10 Kills = Remote UAV – Target enemies with missiles
12 Kills = Advanced UAV – Blackbird
12 Kills = Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control
12 Kills = Stealth Bomber
18 Kills = EMP
18 Kills = Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour
18 Kills = Escort Airdrop – Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked
Leaked Perks (+ means Pro version)
Tier 1
Extreme Conditioning – Sprint longer distances + Climb obstacles faster
Sleight Of Hand – Reload faster + Faster weapon swapping
Scavenger- Reload ammo from bags + Spawn with more ammo
Blind Eye – Undetectable from air support + Faster launcher lock on and extra damage to air support
Recon – Explosive damage marks target on HUD + Bullet damage marks target on HUD
Tier 2
Hardline – One less kill for Killstreak + Two assists count as a kill towards next killstreak
Assassin – Immune to UAV, Motion Sensor, Thermal and Heartbeat Sensor + Immune to CUAV & EMP
Overkill – Two primary weapons + Second primary can have 2 attachments
Quickdraw – Faster aim down sights + Faster animation of using equipment and throwing grenade
Blastshield – Flack Jacket (Immune to most explosives) + Immune to stuns and flashes
Tier 3

Dead Silence – Your footsteps are silent + No fall damage
Stalker – Faster movement with ADS + Delay on claymores
Marksman – ID target from range + Longer hold breath on scoped weapons
Steady Aim – Increased hip fire accuracy + Faster aim down sight while sprinting.
Sounds somewhat interesting.
And not a single fuck was given
I hope the EMP has a bit more use for it to be 18 kills to achieve it.
Also I'll never steal an enemy care package again.
Juggernaut suit?! That's probably even worse than the nuke.
To be honest all of this is sounding interesting. Sure, Call of Duty is moving away from pseudo-realism and into full-on arcadic-ness, but that doesn't mean the game will be any less fun!
Still deciding on whether or not to buy this though.
Pretty much every new killstreak that they've put in looks to unbalance the entire game. And have they always had assault and support killstreaks seperated? Only game I know of that has that is Medal of Honor. Would be awkward if they just so happened to have maybe... copied that?

Not if everyone is use to fighting it.
It'll only be fucking awful for like the first month or two when it's still a challenge. By then it'll just be more a nuisance than a fucking tank.

There's always been support and assault killstreaks that are parallel to each other, just it's never been spelled out like that. Like, in Black Ops you had UAV (Support) and RC-XD (Assault) both 3 kills.
The parallels are much greater in this game though.
Also, keep in mind that there's probably been some gameplay changes to afford making such high-powered killstreaks. Activision already said that they cut down on hot spots to make the game a bit more noob friendly.

That is true. But the Little Bird Flock sounds very overpowered, though.
Hmm, I can imagine the flock and guard little birds to be annoying, but the
10 Kills = Talcon (Mini Robot Tank)
sounds fun.
I hate to admit this but this all sounds pretty awesome.

I think the Little Bird Flock is probably a lot less overbearing than it seems. This is probably a dinky helicopter that doesn't do a lot of damage :v:.
I wonder how many people won't buy this simply because the Nuke was removed.
Also yeah, this leaked killstreak list has changed my opinion on mw3.
I'm going to wait for September, but if I'm impressed by what I see on September 1st, I may pre-order.

Since even a lot of CoD kiddies agree that nuke was an annoying tactic, probably not many.
I am certainly more inclined to getting MW3 than getting BF3 at the moment.
(most probably won't get either tho)

Well, they said it was going to be more than one chopper included with the kill streak.
Oh now I have to make effort to get a UAV.
Getting 3 kills on MW2 was a blessing from Jesus himself and any more was God himself taking over my mind to play the game for me.
I hate to admit this but this all sounds pretty awesome.
Still doesn't justify buying it imo

Nuke was only annoying when you weren't the person who got it
Well, they said it was going to be more than one chopper included with the kill streak.
I imagine they'd probably make the helicopters pretty weak in terms of health if that's the case.
I hope it isn't unoptimized like black ops, that game killed my engine.
It looks identical, with a few killstreaks renamed and maybe one or two new ones. The perks look the same.
Talk about recycling.

Activision must be one hell of a green company, there's a lot of recycling being done.
I really like what they did with Hardline Pro. One can get truly supportive if you don't have to rely on getting the kills themselves to get killstreaks.

Every game Infinity Ward and Treyarch like to take some of the old things that worked, inject new stuff, and throw away other things.
5 Kills = IMS 3 or 4 placeable mines that cannot be affected by stun or flash grenades
7 Kills = Little Bird Flock (Mini Choppers Patrol The Map)
9 Kills = Little Bird Gaurd (Big Helicopter follows you around the map and protects you)

10 Kills = Talcon (Mini Robot Tank)

5 Kills = Airdrop Trap – Drops a hacked care package
10 Kills = Remote UAV – Target enemies with missiles
12 Kills = Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control
18 Kills = Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour
18 Kills = Escort Airdrop – Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked
Are all new killstreaks though, which is HUGE for a Call of Duty game. We haven't seen this many new Killstreaks in awhile; even in Black Ops, which introduced a lot.
Juggernaut suit + hacks = kiss your game goodbye retards
HueHUEHueEhUEH
seems pretty samey. got excited for this stuff in mw2 and the novelty wore off pretty quick

I guess.

The weapons are also more or less the same, with a few gimmicky additions.
They're basically taking the same shit and making different setpieces.
"18 kills= Juggernaut Recon Armor - Care Package Drop Armor"
I could just imagine getting 18 kills for the jugg suit, then having it get stolen by the enemy :v:
If only I could get it alot cheaper then it really is...
Please add party system. I'm tired of trying to join a game at the same time with my cousin, and end up one of us getting kicked because "Server is full".
