These users see Google’s software — its customization options, hardware affordability, and no-frills design — as the perfect refutation of the sterile, mass-marketed appeal of Apple’s iPhone. Your Tinder date, however, doesn’t care about any of that, according to cold, raw data. In fact, your date is judging you, and so are their friends, family, and likely everyone sitting in and around your table at dinner and then later on at the bar. According to a study conducted by Match.com and Research Now, iPhone owners are about 21 times more likely to negatively judge a date who uses an Android phone. On the flip side, Android owners are only 15 times as likely to negatively judge a date for opting for iOS.
This is totally why I dont have a girlfriend
people are petty sheep
then are sheep people?
iPhone vs. Android is the ultimate "Pro-Skub" vs "Anti-Skub"
Didn't some iPhone users also get their panties in a twist back when Instagram was released on Android devices?
IMO girls who smoke turn me off but being turned off by a girl who uses an iPhone? lmao what
Didn't some iPhone users also get their panties in a twist back when Instagram was released on Android devices?
Eh, there's always going to be stupid people no matter what
I too, alter my relations with people based on what corporate overlord they pledge their loyalty to.
What about BlackBerry?
Yeah, it's really fucking annoying when I like a girl who doesn't have an iPhone (or anyone, really). You know how fucking painfully slow SMS is? No delivered or read receipts?
SMS has delivered receipts if you turn them on and read receipts are for stalkers and the paranoid. There are also infinitely many apps that offer a good messaging experience. This is a really petty thing to be upset about.

Last time I checked, Apple and their products & fans were the butt of jokes online.
What if you have both devices?
Unless a girl uses a phone that respects her freedoms and open sourced software, I am not interested. [sp]/s[/sp] It's ridiculous how much Androids are shat on by Teenage girls on Twitter/Facebook etc. A girl I knew from College had to use a Galaxy S6 for a month while her iPhone was repaired, and everyday she'd post on Twitter how much she hated it and wanted to go back to her iPhone. With her only reasons being "It's ugly".
"It's ugly".
I mean it's Touchwiz. As an Android user she's far from wrong and I'd probably do the same thing. Still true & funny though.

As incorrect as it may be, I would assume this comes down to the people thinking they are financially worse off if they are using an android phone.

Everyone just uses Whatsapp instead.

No one has SMS conversations anymore anyway, we have alternatives that are faster for casual conversation for a reason. A2. Facebook messenger is a prime example of this. B. why do you care so much if they actually read your message or not? That's pretty creepy dude. C. SMS does have delivery flags, maybe not on IOS idk, but I know for a fact it does on every other device including Windows Phone.
I'll take 'Completely Fucking Inane Numbers' for 500, Alex.
Luckily for UK and Most of Europe, (and I think quite a bit of the rest of the world) iMessage and SMS are rarely used. Everyone just uses Whatsapp instead.
I can confirm this actually, no one I knew in my time abroad used SMS for literally anything other than vital communication when there wasn't good enough cell service or wifi to use a messaging app. SMS is basically just a fall-back communication for most people now imo.
I used to be an iphone user and after some time I switched to android. I admit when I first switched over everything on android felt shittier and there were a lot of apps that I liked but were exclusive to ios. so the transition was hard but a lot of has changed since then and now I am a happy droid user. The one thing that was really pissing me off about Apple back then was itunes. It felt really really restrictive. And when I switched over to android I felt freedom. Also rooting made things even better, I preferred the android rooting scene over the jailbreak, more free & cool shit
I'm not even sure if articles like this are satire or not any more... People like that can't exist, you can't possibly be turned off because your partner has a different OS installed on their phone, you just can't. It's like the console wars videos that circulated on YouTube when the PS3 / X360 were still new, but transposed into reality and with Android phones / iPhones.
Jokes on them I have both.
I only date people who run Gentoo on their PC so this is no different
I personally think it's playful to discriminate against an iOS user, but I'm not going to eliminate someone's opinion or interaction with them because they have an iPhone. I couldn't care less about what phone they use, both platforms have their ups and downs and how I use my Android phone is completely different than most phone users.
What if you have both devices?
May god help you.
iPhone = swipe left
Arch with no packaged installer or no date :v:
jesus christ hell does exist in OS form
How am I supposed to have a productive relationship with someone if I can't use read receipts to be passive aggressive about them not responding to my "you up?" texts at 2am? Fucking Android savages
