I watched WWE like... once on television, and I couldn't help but laugh during most of it because of the sheer sillyness of it all.
Seems fun, If I have extra money lying around i'll definitely pick it up.

I just love how that laptop is flying through that guy on the table's body. :v:
I've always had a soft spot for the WWE games
Did you know, when JR was a commentator, he never read the script, so he could give a more realistic commentary?
They have a script? I'm pretty sure the commentators just commentate on what they see - only being informed of incredibly major things so they don't go thinking one of the wrestlers has died or something during an injury angle. When something surprising happens they always seem as surprised as everyone else. Also, it amuses me how the crowd chant 'Oh my god' instead of the usual 'Holy shit'.

I haven't played a WWE game since.....god I think it was the '98 game? I had loads of fun, I might consider picking this up.
I still don't get WWE. No disrespect to anybody who does, but I don't see the appeal of watching two half naked men pretending to fight.
Imploding rings seem a bit shit according to Youtube. I pictured a ring that slowly became smaller and smaller in size, with the ropes around the ring contracting and the floor somehow shrinking, with the wrestlers desperately trying to use available space.
I had one of the more recent wwe games, and my wrestler was a 7 foot tall dude wearing sunglasses and wearing an indian head dress.
The imploding ring should probably be like, a 1 in 100,000 chance, or else it'll probably get old fast. It's a good thing they're adding new commentary, they've been using the exact same lines in game since the first Smackdown vs. Raw games.

It's a pretty good insight especially Foley's story. They cover that match in it and the effects on his family. This right here is just a real winning shot. Foley, Austin and The Rock hanging out backstage with Foley's family. I don't remember the last time I've played a WWE game... I think it was WAY before John Cena appeared.
I just hope they fix online this year.
watching WWE/WWF with my 2 older brothers during the Attitude Era is one of the best childhood memories I have.
Defiantly pickin dis shit up.

Mentioned the matches and who comes out and shit
Holy shit. How the hell can Foley keep his shit together this well? Just seeing how fucked up Jake "The Snake" was, hearing how much drugs he did and how his family life is just shit, it's remarkable that Foley manages to be sort of normal. Although watching his family and their reactions during the match against The Rock was just hard.
speaking of pro wrestling, is anyone else still skeptical about Chris Benoit's murder/suicide? Judging by everything his friends & coworkers have said about him, as well as footage of him with his family, I just can't believe that a single roid rage incident could cause such an awful thing to happen.
the WWE games are fun if you have a group of friends playing. My friends and I occasionally play WWE 12 and none of us really watch wrestling anymore. I think they said his brain was like a 60 year old Alzheimer patient.
i want ragdolls.

There are tons of videos of him doing his signature flying headbutt and totally botching it/diving face first into metal objects. I was a huge Benoit fan and haven't watched WWE since they completely removed all traces of him from the sport. On topic, I hope JR says THIS IS A REAL SLOBBERKNOCKER every 10 seconds.
