Fuck, this might finally be a good reason for me to play MC again.
Nice but uuhm..... how uuhm about some modding support/api. like was promised so long ago...
Will we be getting very large mountains to take advantage of the new world height limit?
Hopefully they fixed the land generation from being so dull compared to alpha/beta Most likely not but maybe one day..
It's a shame they don't know what cliffs are. A little while back a dev posted "Oh, you've all been asking for cliffs and stuff"... And then posted a picture of a biome of steep hills. Those aren't cliffs.
Will we be getting very large mountains to take advantage of the new world height limit?
My fucking dream since always. Gigantic fucking mountains like in fantasy books, like Lotr, where you can basically build entire cities on the side of it. Kilometers high, and spanning kilometers wide. Being in an connected range of mountains, each as huge as said above.
funny enough i bought minecraft but mojang only gave me the download to the demo version :C
please bring back the world gen from alpha where it was actually cool, this one is just so boring compared to it
please bring back the world gen from alpha where it was actually cool, this one is just so boring compared to it
What is it though? I mean I agree, for some reason the worlds now all seem to be basically the same. It's always the same amount of all the stuff, just in different place. There should be more structures, and structures that in themselves are randomized not by pattern, without pre calculation.
