Is it possible to make an animated image in paint?

I'm wondering if it's possible to combine multiple frames of an animation (Or to-be-animated image) in MSpaint or Paint.net and save it as a .gif or .apng or something. If not, is there a program that allows me to do this?
In regular paint? No. Paint.net? Perhaps. I recommend Gimp for gif making though.

Ah, got it. Thanks.
I'd use Photoshop, but I forgot my Adobe password, and the latest version of Photoshop I have is currently lacking a few vital .dlls and is from 2004.
Just save the frames as separate pictures, gif preferably if you are making gif anim.
Then download this shit http://vdubapngmod.sourceforge.net/
drag the frames into the program
export as gif
same with apng, you make frames png and drag them onto that shit
or then you could just use photoshop
Easy gif animator 5, very simple software.
You can make animated gifs in photoshop, but as far as I'm aware APNGs are not supported.
