As the title suggest, I was given the iBeats as a Christmas present for my HTC one x, that has some kind of beats integration
But on the iBeats package, it says that it was made for iPod, iPhone and iPad, and it doesn't really say anything about htc.
So is it compatible with the htc one x?
If it has a 3.5mm audio connector and the HTC One X has a 3.5mm audio jack on it, it will work. You will hear things, believe it or not.
Considering that iPhones, and other 'compatible' Apple products listed, do not have any sort of special hardware/software to make them 'compatible' at all it would be safe to assume that any 'audio enhancements' would be coming from the product themselves.
In any case, all of the beats shit on HTC phones is just software crap to make the audio x10 more bassy and ~~cool~~

fyi the compatibility listed is for the inline microphone, so yeah there is special hardware, since they have a TRRS receptacle, and yes I believe that the HTC will be compatible with the microphone as well, but they will work for sound with any audio source.

There is a situation where some phones (notably the original Galaxy S) with a 4 pin 3.5mm use a different pin order than the iPhone - this results in extremely low quality mono audio and a non functional mic+button. Fixing this requires either resoldering the plug on the headphones or buying a cheap converter.
This doesn't happen when plugging into a standard 3 pin 3.5mm jack, as far as I'm aware.
dude. DUDE. they are headphones. Come on.

Actually it makes them less bassy because the bass is too heavy originally :v:
Nope, the Beats Audio thing is a V shaped EQ and that's pretty much it.
