Oh god that news photo is gold even out of context
I wish they brought back some of the tags they deemed garbage like "walking simulator" or "bad port" just because it's not an official term. If people can consistently keep it upvoted on the most common tags, it should be useful enough for most visitors.
There's been some speculation that they've stripped those kinda tags because of negative connotations that would decrease sales, but I don't buy that. They do allow negative reviews, even on the "front page" of the most helpful reviews of a given entry, and usually Valve plays the long game, which means making customers happy in the long run instead of tricking them into buying garbage.
Then again, with the flood gates now open and everything... idk what to think. Valve's a mad scientist.
I wish that, if a game gets enough bad reviews, the game is then removed from Steam
I can see shit like that Rambo game from a few months ago being removed on the spot.

That's an incredibly flawed idea that would result in the disappearance of every game on Steam.

I could see that being abused like hell.

Sure, actually bad games get removed but that happens anyway after public outcry by news sites. Leaving it to the public would result in anything considered "not a game" or anything with a vocal opposition being removed (Call of Duty, Gone Home, Braid, Mirrormoon EP, etc.)
