The Microsoft tool to mark bad sectors is not working. Newly saved images are being placed on bad sectors even after running CHKDSK several times.
Is there an alternative to CHKDSK that can PROPERLY mark bad sectors?
Preferably free please.
Try Defraggler or change your HDD
That just calls chkdsk.
if it doesn't work, then there might be a problem with the HDD itself.
Get a new drive.
