This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I've often been told I have a pleasant speaking voice.

So to that end, I've started this project: LET'S FUCKING READ!

Agreed. In the first two episodes, I was trying not to wake up my roommates (I had recorded them late at night, after work). For subsequent installments, I've recorded them during the day, when I had the house to myself.

One bit of feedback would be to get a better microphone for recording with. I would recommend a Blue Spark, Which is what I use. It's 300$ at guitar center, then pickup a Focusrite 2i2 to plug the mic into. It has 48v Phantom power to be able to power the spark (condensers mics need power).

As for the mic issue, I just don't have that sort of budget at the moment, especially for something that I can't possibly make any sort of money doing. But I am keeping my eye out on Craigslist and pawn shops for used mics. We'll see how that goes.
