Well it's quite simpel: the 50's : you had Elvis the 60's : you had The Beatles the 70's : you had Led Zeppelin the 80's : you had Queen the 90's : you had Nirvana So what will be remebert for the 00's (stupid name).
Radiohead away!
Radiohead has been known long before the 00's.
Radiohead has been known long before the 00's.
idc
It'll be stuff like Soulja Boy and other horrible hip hop bands. And then in the latter half of the decade for metalcore and deathcore and stuff.
It are confusing times, there are no recent MONSTER bands anymore, like Zeppelin and such.
I hope it will be the queens of the stone age. But I doubt it
the days the music died :(
It'll be stuff like Soulja Boy and other horrible hip hop bands. And then in the latter half of the decade for metalcore and deathcore and stuff.
I don't think metalcore and deathcore and even the harder metal kinds get enough attention for this
I'd say Metallica or Linkin park, i despite these two bands though
Metallica is from the 80's
Metallica is from the 80's
Still, it's quite popular these days, way more it was at the 80's and everyone knows them
The White Stripes
Still, it's quite popular these days, way more it was at the 80's and everyone knows them
The Beatles are quite popular these days and everyone knows them too.
beatles for 00's
Kanye West
Limp Bizkit yo yo yo.
Probably Muse, Kanye West, Eminem
Jonas Brothers <3 <3 <3!!!!
Jonas Brothers <3 <3 <3!!!!
Unfortunately, this will probably be true.
I'm hoping Rise Against.
Muse or Kanye I'd say. Both amazing in my opinion.
Nirvana? Kurt died in 94, your logic is flawed. EDIT: Be nice if it were something good but it'll probably be disturbed or something shitty like that.
Probably Coldplay if we had to go with mainstream rock. But nowadays hip-hop has got to be more popular. Look at VH1 and MTV, when they actually do play music videos it rarely strays away from hip-hop and rap, or types that are influenced by it. I'm just waiting for the next Elvis.
blink-182
No band is good enough nowadays to be remembered as the representative for this decade. I'd say that this decade will be remembered by how Hip-hop and Pop took over the music business and consumed it.
You are probably right. sad thing though
Emo, kind of like the 80s was hair metal and new wave, and the 70s was punk and rock and roll, and the 90's was grunge, the 00s were the emo decade, way to go everyone :emo:
It'll be known for the whole emo/scene bands.
blink-182
this.
