• Can you setup a SVN on a web server?

I'm going to be making a private SVN for a mod me and my friend are making, I want to know, can you make a SVN on a web server. Like for a website?

I'm paying for web hosting, Not hosting my PC.
Surely just installing the SVN server program and giving it a separate port would work? All servers are just applications running on a computer.
You apperently only has access to the web hosting (probably only through FTP :v: ). For setting up an SVN server you would require to access to the server itself. You should get either a VPS server, or a server at an SVN provider.
