Hey, I'm just joined this forum, and I thought I'd start with one of my favorite subjects, Photoshop.
Made this for a Photo manipulation contest on another site

What do you think?
It looks as if instead of taking the time to cut out the dragon properly, you skimmed the issue by brightening the edges.
Any originals for comparison?
that was part of the fire effect in the original pic. I actually darkened the edges to get more detain from the fire after I applied all of the effects.

Ah, I thought you made the dragon. It still just looks like you did a crappy job isolating him.
Use some god damn colors.
It looks like you've done tiltshift photography at the bottom of the image - giving the impression that the dragon is storming a toy castle rather than a full size one.
You've done a pretty good job in general, but ou should add/keep some colour. You should also make the rocky outcrop less.. fragmented and rather keep the original contrast. The edge blur also doesn't fit, at least that's what I think.
If you fix it up a little, it could be a much better piece.
Thanks for the tips. I will be sure to try to use them and will post an update when I make the next version.
