Donald Trump paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year, an official at Trump's company said, after it was revealed that Trump's charitable foundation had violated tax laws by giving a political contribution to a campaign group connected to Florida's attorney general. The improper donation, a $25,000 gift from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, was made in 2013. At the time, Attorney General Pam Bondi was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against Trump University. She decided not to pursue the case. Earlier this year, The Washington Post and a liberal watchdog group raised new questions about the three-year-old gift. The watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, filed a complaint with the IRS — noting that, as a registered nonprofit, the Trump Foundation was not allowed to make political donations. The Post reported another error, which had the effect of obscuring the political gift from the IRS. In that year's tax filings, The Post reported, the Trump Foundation did not notify the IRS of this political donation. Instead, Trump's foundation listed a donation — also for $25,000 — to a Kansas charity with a name similar to that of Bondi's political group. In fact, Trump's foundation had not given the Kansas group any money. The prohibited gift was, in effect, replaced with an innocent-sounding but nonexistent donation. Trump's business said it was unaware of any of these mistakes until March, when it heard from the watchdog group and The Post. I really feel like a $2,500 penalty isn't enough.
So guys If you want to claim Clinton is Corrupt, Donald Trump is also corrupt.
So guys If you want to claim Clinton is Corrupt, Donald Trump is also corrupt.
Does anyone argue that Trump isn't corrupt?
Does anyone argue that Trump isn't corrupt?
From the posts of a ton of people on this site, yes, there are absolutely people who argue Trump isn't corrupt. I've seen it with my own eyes. Oh, and trust me, r/the_donald would certainly never say he's corrupt.
This should be pretty big news since unlike the Clinton Foundation, there's hard evidence of quid pro quid deals by Trump. This should be a massive strike against Trump. [editline]3rd September 2016[/editline] And shouldn't there be an investigation for bribery too? Or is that not illegal?
Does anyone argue that Trump isn't corrupt?
I like /pol/'s wording of it: It's a vote between a women who is a piece of shit and a man who is a slightly better looking piece of shit.
I like /pol/'s wording of it: It's a vote between a women who is a piece of shit and a man who is a slightly better looking piece of shit.
God help us. We agree with /pol/.
God help us. We agree with /pol/.
Every time I think we hit rock bottom with this election, we keep sinking further and further into the depths.
its ok hes just gonna eliminate the IRS anyways
At this point trump has been held more accountable then Hillary Clinton and that in itself is sad.
At this point trump has been held more accountable then Hillary Clinton and that in itself is sad.
he hasnt been held accountable for half the shit he says, last week alone we had a bevy of republicans saying "well of course he never meant it all!" then proceeded to backpedal on that when he doubled down on everything
I like /pol/'s wording of it: It's a vote between a women who is a piece of shit and a man who is a slightly better looking piece of shit.
I don't know how anybody could conclude that Trump is the shinier piece of shit in this situation.
I don't know how anybody could conclude that Trump is the shinier piece of shit in this situation.
It all comes down to confirmation bias vs their favored candidate, and a misguided hope that he'll actually follow through on improving the life of the average American, when anybody with even some sense realizes he'll just worsen the existing standard of living for everybody in the end thanks to this policies. Also, why anybody would support a thin skinned man baby who trades in insults and rhetoric as his political gimmick is beyond me, just because he 'says it like it is.' What really worries me, and I've said this before on many occasions, is why people who supported Bernie are silly enough to shift their candidacy to Trump, purely because he says he's anti-establishment, and that's the biggest piece of hypocrisy yet, because he is the epitome of the 1%.

Both sides say shit and it does not mean shit.
Does anyone argue that Trump isn't corrupt?
Orgornot, RIPBILLYMAYS, and Blizzerd say hi

They never gave a shit for Sanders' revolution or other good intentions; they only pretended that they did. Those people were always anti-Hillary instead; a bunch of white manbabies with a persecution complex. It was only logical that they went to Trump after Bernie was eliminated, because that's the exact kind of person that Trump appeals to.
