TOR's Free to Play model is one of the worst I've ever seen. It's just an indefinite demo with a Sub required to really enjoy all (Which is very little, still) that TOR has to offer. I say Sub because it's cheaper to just Sub than pay for everything individually
I don't know how much of it was pressure from EA, and/or ideas from Matthew, but together they sure didn't make any good decisions
