My father is diabetic, and 52. There's nothing to worry about so long as you watch the food she eats.
She just has to check her blood sugar once a day.
As for the coma, I don't think it's a problem unless she really goes out of her way to get her sugar sky rocketing.
Google is your friend.
not very deadly at all, she'll be fine as long as she adapts to it
My friend has diabetes, he has to check his blood sugar before eating anything with lots of sugar in, and once morning and afternoon.
It's not bad, his life goes on and he's not been anywhere near passing out while I've known him.
Yeah, I have two relatives that are diabetic. Just make sure she measures her blood sugar, and she should be okay.
My mom has diabetes Type 2. Just make sure you keep their blood sugar normal, watch what they eat and you should be find. What type does your mom have? You can tell if their sugar is low if they start talking and not making any sense. My mom would just talk and nothing she said made sense, to get her sugar up give them a glass of orange juice.
I have type 2. Once you get used to it it's fine. Just make sure she does not get to panicked about it.

depends on what type diabeetus she has, type 1 or type 2.
It isn't as life threatening in less you're a complete dipshit and let your blood sugar level get to high or two low. If she keeps a proper diet and exercises she will be fine.
