They changed it to make it look more like another faerie dragon.
Consequently, expect another dota2 design change.

Faerie Dragon, eh? I had a feeling it'd have something like Phase Shift, being that the original Faerie Dragon unit from Warcraft 3 had Phase Shift. Ooh, and it has Polymorph too...
As for Chen, I have a feeling that one of his Ults will be along the lines of Storm, Earth and Fire, otherwise known in Dota 2 as Primal Split.

-Pock has been recolored to avoid confusion with Dragon Knight.

Arthas is already in HoTS though.
and they're adding that thing that wc3 pudge was because there's a silhouette for it in the trailers
