Awesome - Outlast was a great game, if a little short.
The game shits itself really hard about halfway through and fails to keep up with its own established standard, it's a shame.
The first ten minutes were great, the rest was boring and predictable and the ending was abysmal.
Needs less jump scares.
It's not scary.

I absolutely hated the ending, what a fucking shitty ending.
Brought me to this story and relatively interesting setting for a conclusion that absolutely sucked life from the still living corpse of the second half. The game was relatively tense and had actually a nice pacing that climaxed at my opinion [sp] a creepy doctor chopping off your fucking fingers. [/sp]

Huh? I found the beginning to be the dullest part. It's just getting really interesting now that I'm finding more crazy things and trying to link it all together.
As someone who's a weiner and too scared to play, its ok if you spoil it for me (just tag it)...what's the ending?

[sp]After going through the 2spooky asylum, getting abducted by a mad surgeon who cut your fingers and killing him using an elevator (and also witnessing a crazy priest crucify and burn himself to death), you end up in an underground section of the facility. Wallrider, the hyped up entity almost every single report in the game mentions as basically something so huge it could change the world as we know it and potentially just destroy it entirely, turns out to be a brain-dead dude in a big vat of lifejuice, with his spirit, a literal ghost with a spooky skeleton in it, chases you around. At some point around there the big fat tank that you could not even look at without dying through the game shows up and get instagibbed by the spooky ghost skeleton. You then attempt to kill wallrider, and upon succeeding the spirit just enters your body, throws you around a bit and then just sort of shuts up and stays in you. You reach a last corridor, and right as you open your last door to freedom, you are greeted with a squad of soldiers who kill you with a hail of bullets, under the orders of the bad guy, some random asshole in a chair you've only met once before. Then as you die on the floor, the game fades to black and ends on an audio only ending of the squad getting destroyed by the wallrider spirit that inhabited you, and that's it.[/sp]
