Same thing I've been telling everyone else. With the new DX11 cards coming out, you might want to wait.
What games do you play and at what resolution?
Uh, you could do a lot better for the money.
no not at all budget?
Get the nine Hundred 2 or the Twelve Hundred, not the three hundred, that's shitty, cooling isn't as good as the other version, for only a small bit more.

wow get that too the total price is still under the limit
Does he really need all that for Source games? :\
I mean, sure, it's good. But isn't it a bit..much?
nah, source games maybe just one aspect of the rig
At 1280x1024 resolution..
If it's truly only source games, then just save money on the 4870x2's, and buy a 22-24'' monitor and a 4890.
But yeah, Crysis, Bioshock, GTAIV, go with Dex.

I don't play only Source games, I also plan on buying Fallout 3 and SFIV

So should I go with the build? I'm about to checkout.
make sure you get the ram I posted
[editline]06:08AM[/editline]
can't believe it didn't copy
I went with some GSkill 2x2GB because the board only supports dual-channel.
those sticks will work, probably better as you probably have a 32bit os, as long as you got DDR3 you are fine
I'll be running Windows 7 64-bit.
you did get DDr3 right
Also, looks like the video-cards don't come with crossfire bridges, should I buy some?
[editline]08:19PM[/editline]
Yeah, I got these [url]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231188[/url]
