Get the nine Hundred 2 or the Twelve Hundred, not the three hundred, that's shitty, cooling isn't as good as the other version, for only a small bit more.

Mostly source games? Get a quad-core phenom, get a 4870 512MB, get a CoolerMaster 550W PSU, get 4GB DDR2 800MHZ Ram.

At 1280x1024 resolution.. If it's truly only source games, then just save money on the 4870x2's, and buy a 22-24'' monitor and a 4890. But yeah, Crysis, Bioshock, GTAIV, go with Dex.

I went with some GSkill 2x2GB because the board only supports dual-channel.

those sticks will work, probably better as you probably have a 32bit os, as long as you got DDR3 you are fine

I'll be running Windows 7 64-bit.
