A new campaign launching tonight focuses on the iPhone's ability to carry voice and data simultaneously on AT&T's network, and each of the two new TV spots ends with the line "Can your phone and your network do that?" From where we're sitting, it looks like between this new round and AT&T's Luke Wilson-manned comparison spots, both the phonemaker and carrier are fully stepping into the ring. Way to get their attention, guys. See the full clips after the break.
The commercials: http://vimeo.com/7777019 http://vimeo.com/7777115
Isn't the iPhone in america only on AT&T making it a bit daft to bash them?
Yea. they are Teaming up with AT&T for these commercials against Verizon and the droid.
At least the Droid was explicit about what it was 'targeting'. I can understand what AT&T and Apple are trying to do, but they just suck at it
I'm not a fan of Verizon, but their newest ad made me giggle like a little girl.

Seems amazing it's still only on one carrier in the US. Apple probably can't wait until their exclusivity contract runs out. It's on 3 carriers here in the UK now.

They should have done A guy stands next to the burning wreckage of his car with his wife and children trapped inside. He dials 911. Guy: I need the police! My children are trapped inside my car and it's gonna explode! .. He-hello? HELLO? The car explodes. The guy is showered in his childrens' organs and limbs On-screen text: "They can't hear you now, but we can. AT&T+iPhone"
Good ads. I must say Apple really knows what a product needs, and strategies to market said products.
This is good and all but it still begs the simple question of why the fuck would I want to move the phone off of my ear and make my friend wait for 2 minutes and I fumble around trying to find something. I mean it's still basically the same thing, it just saves you the hassle of having to redial the number after your done looking for what you need.
Droid does what nintendont
Droid does what nintendont
Ohohoho, well played
Wait,so the DROID can't use data and voice at the same time? On every Android phone I've used (G1,MyTouch,Hero) I've been able to use both data and voice at the same time. Would this be Verizon's fault?
I'd really be surprise if the DROID couldn't do that, I mean my Blackberry Curve can do that ffs.
hi im an iphone and im a droid
