The Occupy London Stock Exchange movement has been located in Paternoster Square since Saturday. The dean has asked the activists to move on from the area by the entrance. "We have a legal obligation to keep visitors safe and healthy," he said. Police presence The cathedral will close to members of the public after a service on Friday afternoon. On Sunday the cathedral's canon chancellor, the Reverend Giles Fraser, said he had asked for the police presence outside the building to be scaled back. By Wednesday, the increased number of protesters at the site meant officials had to review "the extent to which it can remain open for the many thousands coming this week as worshippers, visitors and in school parties". Speaking outside the cathedral on Friday, Reverend Knowles said: "I have written an open letter to the protesters this afternoon, advising them that we have no lawful alternative but to close St Paul's Cathedral until further notice." It made a great map in Resistance.
It made a great map in Resistance.
That was Manchester Cathedral
It's unfortunate that the protesters had to be so close.
That was Manchester Cathedral
I thought I recognized the ramp from one part of the map in the picture, my bad.
I dislike how the BBC reports them as 'anti-capitalist' when many of them actually aren't, they're just anti-phoney capitalism. I'm under the impression that they want a monetary system that is based on commodities rather than faith of those using it as well as a separation of government and economy and withdrawal of corporate personhood along with other related goals. Not anti-capitalism, establishment of a non-corrupt system. Meh, penis.

Yeah that is what the BBC seems to want us all to think and where some of them do look like they are of that crowd, that doesn't make their opinions and observations invalid.
"anti-capitalist"? BBC, what are you doing
I don't know why you're surprised about the BBC's antics. They do that sort of thing constantly, especially when concerning protests. But for some weird reason a lot of people seem to think that they're totally unbiased.
"We have a legal obligation to keep visitors safe and healthy"
That's right. They definitely don't have any moral obligation to keep visitors safe.
I was there yesterday, didn't seem too bad. They were keeping rubbish in bins and the tents were all packed pretty close together leaving the enterence pretty clear. Might go again when I get the chance to see if it gets worse.

I was there taking photos last Sunday, there was a good 80 tents and 2000 people there, but my friend who went yesterday told me there was 200+. Watching all of the demonstrations and songs was extremely interesting, here's a few I took:
What kind of camera do you have?
EXIF says a Canon EOS 1000D.
What kind of camera do you have?
The lens matters more than the camera body, in which case I was using a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Not meaning to piss anyone off or anything, but I am getting tired of "Occupy X" since it just causes a buttload of troubles n' shit. The cause is good though

Trust me, City Police are brutal when compared with The Met, and they proved that in the riots a few months ago. If he's being courteous, then consider yourself very lucky.
