New IPs maybe?
Instead of rehashing Mario like microwaving an old pot of glop that used to resemble food at one point in it's long lifetime?
sexy
I can't deny that Nintendo has one of the worst fanbases I've ever seen. But that doesn't mke me want to pity Nintendo. They barely pay attention to their fanbase anyway.
I want less motion controls. It's cool, but the premise has worn thin. The Wii U isn't especially appealing to me, either.

What was their last new first-party IP, anyways? The Wii series?

Non-specific Action Figure could have potential

And yet I've never played a bad Mario game.

That's the same "my body is ready" picture from [del]a few years back[/del] E3 2007. I don't think he'll ever get to live it down.
"And so for years this community has been asking, 'Where's Pikmin?' 'Where's Pikmin?' 'Where's Pikmin?' We give them Pikmin. And then they say, 'What else? For years, this community have said, 'Damnit Reggie, when you launch, you better launch with a Mario game.' So we launch with a Mario game, and they say, 'So what's more?' I have heard people say, 'You know, you've got these fantastic franchises, beyond what you're doing in Smash Bros., isn't there a way to leverage all these franchises?' So we create Nintendo Land and they say, 'Ho-hum, give me more.' So it's an interesting challenge."
Because fans want more than that! They at least want another Zelda too!
:v:
I wouldn't mind seeing them give Geist a second chance.
It had always seemed like to me that Nintendo fans were the easiest to please.
I mean if you go on any sort of Nintendo community site, they will jizz all over anything that Nintendo puts out even if it's something dumb like the new 3DS model.

Hardcore Nintendo fanboys will cum buckets over the latest remake of an old game.
He is right though.
it's human nature to always want more :v:

when he said he never played a bad mario game he meant he never played a bad mario game
don't pull out an incredibly obscure game that nobody has ever heard of
They should probably consider a new IP; franchises need a rest once in a while, believe it or not.

I wouldn't consider that a main Mario game
that's like counting those three non-Nintendo LoZ games as part of the series
The problem with Nintendo is that their hardcore fans are incredibly vocal and never satisfied, but they are also always guaranteed to buy the games and consoles. Nintendo fans are the most loyal.
The non-core fans are the ones with legitimate complaints (such as a lack of new IPs), but they aren't as vocal and simply ignore anything uninteresting.

Especially when we aren't getting more.
I want less focus on Mario and more focus on Bowser and Yoshi games.
A game based solely around Bowser; Bowser's Inside Story doesn't count, as he's still second fiddle to the Mario bros.
And a new Yoshi game; The Yoshi Island games are nice, but I want a 3D one for once, the story book pop-up stuff is getting old, since EVERY yoshi entry does it. Mix it up a little, Nintendo.
Make a 3D earthbound Nintendo.
Everyone wants earthbound.
The problem, reggie, is no one asked for Nintendurland, and it's what you're focusing on.
I wish they went back to the principle that they had with the N64. That system had such a wide verity of titles it wasn't even funny. Cool thing was the only process that the developers had to go though was to get Nintendo seal of approval.
I understand they're targeting the casual crowed, that is fine. But don't get mad when your hardcore fans are getting mad. They want a more mature and adult console. Not some kiddie one.

Fuck you, I loved that game when I was younger.
His body was not ready for this, unfortunately.
Nintendo obviously needs to put more 3rd party Wii games on the market.

What about Project 100-p? That was a new IP announced this year.
Earthbound is a fun IP, how about making a new one?
Or a new fucking Star Fox game?
