E1M1 is No Remorse by Metallica. Not bad playing, but honestly there's no a whole lot of point if you aren't going to play the solo. You should also turn your gain down, you'll cut someone's head off with that tone ;)

First solo was definitely dodgy. And the second was non existent. Just keep practicing .

Dude. While that was an alright cover, you halfassed it! You've gotta downpick those verses and such to get that cutting tone. I find excuses to use my pinky because if I don't it starts to get weak. Plus I think it looks better when you don't have a finger sticking off in some random direction.
