Need advice for .exe file that can allow third-party themes to be installed.

Sorry if the title is worded wrong.
Basically all I want to do is to is install third party themes (from customize.org) for WinXP Service Pack 3. However, to use any of these themes, I need the UX Theme Multi-Patcher. I admit to messing up this computer before & don't want to do that again. I want advice from anyone who have used the UXTMP before; does it mess up my system? Can it be easily removed if unneeded?
Yes, I know, everything I need to know is on that page, but I just want to be sure. Gotta take any precaution I can with this computer.
Thanks in advance; once I get an answer, I'll PM a mod to lock this.
You can only remove the patch if you backup your uxtheme.dll before patching.
There's not really any need to - that multi patcher is perfectly safe
Okay, thanks.
Any other information about this I could use? Like what exactly it does and stuff.
It just overwrites two or three .dll files that handle theming.
Alright, I got all the answers I need. Thanks guys.
