Notable rules:
-No notes, charts, graphs, statistics, etc. allowed. I guess Obama and Romney don't want to be put on the spot as far as factual content of their words goes.
-Candidates may not ask each other direct questions.
-No audience participation
-Candidates may not move from predesignated areas
-Audience members may not ask followup questions, their mics will be cut off after their ask their initial question(for "Town Hall" debate)
-Questions in "Town Hall" debate may be chosen by the moderator
-Questioners must ask questions in the exact way as screened by the moderator
It seems that Obama and Romney both want to play it safe with these debates. I don't blame them, being a human being with a fucking spine can be hard sometimes.
Wait. No audience participation?
