:siren:[b]LULZSEC IS OVER AND DONE.[/B]:siren:
Popular theory being they don't want to be arrested and after 3 of their crew abandoned ship and 2 were arrested they couldn't take the heat.
I'll keep this updated as it comes along but white hats and general prosec hackers are taking them down at the moment. Lulzsec is officially sinking.
[quote="TeamPoison"]BREAKING NEWS: TEH LULZBOAT HAS OFFICALY SANK WITH 100S OF ANON MEMBERS ON BOARD!
No matter how many bots you gather, no matter how much people you lie to, no matter how much pre-made tools you use, you will _NEVER_ represent the real hacking scene, we warned you, we told you we do not make empty threats, we gave u 48hrs to secure your ircs yet u failed to do so, instead u posted hashes from public forums and then claimed you doxed us and laughed at the fact that i was 17years old. stop telling yourself that u are hackers, putting a ip into a irc is NOT hacking nor is using pre-made tools and scripts to grab databases... you do not represent the anti-sec movement, u are not allowed to greet underground groups like zf0, ab, h0n0, el8 like your member "AnonSabu" was doing, you will never be apart of the underground scene, if anyone thinks you are underground and can actually hack they have no idea about what happens in the underground scene. oh and TeaMp0isoN Issue 2 is coming out VERY soon exposing lulzsec members (pictures, addresses, passwords, ips, phone numbers etc). . . . not so anonymous anymore are you? lets hope that you can swim because the lulzboat just got titanic'd[/quote]
[url=http://sven-slootweg.nl/index_defaced.html]Source[/url]
From their twitter, it seems they are taking down Lulzsec’s IRC servers which means it wont be able to ddos anymore. It also appears anonnews’ irc server is also down.
[quote=Tech Unlimited] this is Topiary AKA Daniel from NAMESHUB by Backtrace

<Topiary> could be better, you seen the pdf table thing with all the names I take it?
<[removed]> Saw that, but you seen the thing today?
<Topiary> bro I’ve been playing it off since fakegregg said something about Zelda
<[removed]> ah, well, you should keep low man
<Topiary> I can’t at this point, I need to just straight up deny it 100% and flaunt it everywhere
<Topiary> but I trust you, you know how it is
<Topiary> if I go hide then people will assume the dox are right
<Topiary> so I’ll just act like they failed hard
<[removed]> True that – so you need to make a big show of disproving them
<Topiary> yeah well, this is my plan:
<Topiary> (as you know I stole this nickname from a troll last December, didn’t work out so well)
<Topiary> I’ll just keep denying it until they try to go after the troll
<Topiary> then they’ll think that’s me and harass him
<[removed]> then he harasses back?
<Topiary> yeah but if I deny my real dox enough, people will go looking for other dox
<Topiary> then nobody will believe I’m me
<Topiary> and all you bastards told me my Brit voice was good, damnit
<Topiary> did they get voice recognition?

<[removed]> then boom – you drop all the heat on him
<Topiary> ANYTHING to divert attention from that fuckign nameshub
<Topiary> I’m assuming they put that to Feds
<Topiary> so I might be raided soon
<Topiary> fucking shit
<Topiary> goddamnit
<[removed]> that “nameshub” thing exposed a few peopl
<[removed]> have the feds any jurisdiction in Sweden?
<[removed]> ohwait
<[removed]> shit :/
<Topiary> don’t know but I’m shitting bricks
<Topiary> so I don’t know what to do
<Topiary> so I’m just playing it off
<Topiary> “Who the fuck is Daniel Sandberg?”, the whole story
<[removed]> well, hopefully someone will go after the troll you stole the name off
<Topiary> they should have already
<Topiary> hoping so dude
<Topiary> because I don’t want this shit
<Topiary> but yeah I deleted everything recently
<[removed]> rm -rf
<[removed]> fuck, I hope you DBAN-ed
<Topiary> I’d like to make it to the end of the month, how long do they take to raid?
<Topiary> better not hit me on April fool’s day
<Topiary> but yeah maybe they’ll just think backtrace is a joke and not go after me
<[removed]> Well shit, how long before they raided no that time?
<Topiary> not very long
<Topiary> bro why haven’t you done what I did?
<Topiary> find some network and steal someone’s nick
<Topiary> like someone you don’t like
<Topiary> then do illegal shit
<Topiary> and they hit them instead
<Topiary> you’re using a real name
<[removed]> never thought to do it…
<[removed]> I’d advise taking a hammer to your drives though
<Topiary> wouldn’t that look suspicious if they come?
<Topiary> maybe things just have to be normal
<[removed]> hmmmm. use a guttmann pass – you know, like DBAN on crack?
<[removed]> then reload windows or something
<Topiary> yeah
<Topiary> just hoping that they’ll take the bait
<Topiary> the fucker has been using Topiary for like a year
<Topiary> trolling everyone
<Topiary> for no reason
<Topiary> so now we troll him, hope he’s getting raided
<Topiary> well whatever, we both discussed this like last year
<Topiary> so…
<Topiary> then I’ll stop my twitter and everything
<Topiary> but it isn’t FUCKING WORKING
<[removed]> make it look like they got the right guy
<Topiary> yup
<[removed]> it is also
<Topiary> fucking tired of people adding me on Facebook
<Topiary> to be honest I’m just gonna continue the Zelda casts as normal
<Topiary> it would look REALLY weird if they stopped
<[removed]> it shouldnt fsck with your normal life
<Topiary> yeah, right, right
<Topiary> agreed
<Topiary> so that’s what I’ll do
<Topiary> just keep it cool and carry on with it
<[removed]> frame up this damn trollfaggot, and “carry on”
<Topiary> hope it blows over and they start doxing Ireland fag or Scotland fag or wherever the fuck UK part he’s from
<Topiary> anyway I trust you so yeah
<Topiary> we can keep this between us
<[removed]> Wont say a word bro
<[removed]> just take care
<Topiary> okay gotta go
<Topiary> thanks for advic
<[removed]> bye!
Salutations Internet,
As we’re aware, the organization known as LulzSec has declared open war across the internet against the government and those who support it. LulzSec has joined forces with Anonymous and numerous others to accomplish their task. Their “top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information.” They intend to attack banks, government organizations, and anything else which may reward their piracy.
LulzSec and Anonymous portray themselves as outlaw heroes trying to take back the internet from a 1984 or Norsefire style government. Anonymous hides behind Guy Fawkes mask made famous by V to better illustrate this. The problem is that the government which they fight is not led by Big Brother or Adam Susan/Peter Creedy. This government is led by individuals fighting to keep the people free from nightmares the likes of which /b/ has never dreamed of. Much worse than gore and furries. This government fights to protect our very lives, but also to protect the innocent from such atrocities that Anonymous and LulzSec finds so humourous. This government fights to protect your little sister or daughter from seeing a nauseating act instead of a lemonade recipe. This government is trying to save our children from corruption, not take away our beloved imageboards or forums.
Even if this government were trying to take away our internet rights, we live in a democracy which cannot operate without the will of the people. By the will of the people, I do not mean the ability for a masked man to deface government websites and smear government websites. Actions such as these only harm the free internet movement. Instead, contact government officials (senators, representatives, etc.) and inform them of your opinion.)If you think of the thousands of people who visit /b/ alone every day, and then have those people contact their representative vieing for a free internet, /b/ alone could cast enough votes to outweigh any decision made by congress or the president even.
But even if you aren’t one to use democracy to its fullest (too young, too pessimistic) at least realize the damage that LulzSec plans to enact. By using the internet as a weapon, the government would only have more reason to censor it and take it over. We currently do not have a censored internet, but if LulzSec continues its lulzy mission, we may well have one soon.
I am not promoting the purity and perfection of this government. God knows it has its faults. But this Anti-Security operation is not the right answer. I suggest a #ProSec* operation which does not damage the reputation of the internet as a whole. Do not take up the Lulz Lizard banner and show how bad the internet can be, but instead stand against those who are only damaging our interwebs which we live on and think for yourselves. Disregard the GroupThink rhetoric being put forth by LulzSec and discover the truth.
It’s not Now Or Never. You have a voice. Use it.
Change History for the better.

Lulz, trying to get extra money through extortion
[quote=CEO of Unveillance]Official Statement from Karim Hijazi, CEO of Unveillance
Over the last two weeks, my company, Unveillance, has been the target of a sophisticated group of hackers now identified as “LulzSec.” During this two week period, I was personally contacted by several members of this group who made threats against me and my company to try to obtain money as well as to force me into revealing sensitive data about my botnet intelligence that would have put many other businesses, government agencies and individuals at risk of massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
In spite of these threats, I refused to pay off LulzSec or to supply them with access to this sensitive botnet information. Had we agreed to provide this data to them, LulzSec would have been able to grow the size and scope of their DDoS attack and fraud capabilities.
Plain and simple, I refused to comply with their demands. Because of this, they followed through in their threats – and attacked me, my business and my personal reputation.
I believe this incident shows the true nature of LulzSec. For those who might think otherwise, consider the following exchanges, taken directly from several of our IRC chats:
(KARIM) So did we wrong you in some way, let’s get to the point?
(LULZ) <@Ninetales> If you wronged us, all of your affiliates would be crushed. Don’t worry, you’re in the good books. The point is a very crude word: extortion.
(LULZ) <@Ninetales> And what we’re both willing to agree upon that you sacrifice in return for our silence.
(LULZ) <@Ninetales> While I do get great enjoyment from obliterating whitehats from cyberspace, I can save this pleasure for other targets. Let’s just simplify: you have lots of money, we want more money.
(LULZ) <@Ninetales> Prepaid Visas, MoneyPaks, BitCoins, Liberty Reserve, WebMoney, the flavor of your choice. Naturally we’ll avoid PayPal.
(LULZ)[15:04] hamster_nipples: what made you decide to get into this business?
(LULZ)[15:04] hamster_nipples: you realize the security business is severely dangerous?
(LULZ)[15:04] hamster_nipples: do you realize there are blackhats x1000 worse than us that would have harrassed your
(LULZ)[15:04] hamster_nipples: personal life?
(KARIM)[15:04] me: Saw a need… usually a good reason.
(LULZ)[15:04] hamster_nipples: you should consider yourself lucky.
(LULZ)[15:04] pwnage: heard of the guy who runs ZeuStracker?
(KARIM)[15:05] me: yes
(LULZ)[15:05] pwnage: they planned to have him whacked
(LULZ)[15:05] pwnage: faked his suicide
(LULZ)[15:05] pwnage: fucked with his life big style
(KARIM)[15:23] me: I need to think and be able to think clearly without the threat of extortion.
(LULZ)[15:23] hamster_nipples: haha
(LULZ)[15:24] hamster_nipples: unfortunately you have little choice at this point
(LULZ)[15:24] hamster_nipples: don’t think of it as extortion
(KARIM)[15:24] me: Without that luxury, my company will fail…
(LULZ)[15:24] hamster_nipples: consider it a partership
(LULZ)[15:24] hamster_nipples: at this point I don’t want your business to fail
I think that says it all.
A few points I wish to clarify:
1. I have been able to protect the sensitive data which LulzSec was ultimately after. All they have stolen and publicly dumped are my personal and work emails.
2. I am now, and have been, in full cooperation with the FBI. In fact, I contacted the FBI and US-CERT immediately after I began receiving threats from LulzSec to request their assistance – and to explain the nature of the threat. I offered my full cooperation to the FBI in an effort to rectify the situation.
3. Unveillance is not a security company. We are a private botnet monitoring service – and a good one, which is why we were targeted. I do not provide security services to other companies. What I do provide clients with is the first zero false-positive analysis tool for identifying confirmed botnet infections in their computer networks.
4. I am not surprised by this attack; or the information dump on me; or their slanderous statements against me and my company. This is precisely what they threatened me with – in addition to other things, including allusions to physical harm to me and my family – if I did not cooperate with their demands.
5. I do not regret refusing to cooperate with LulzSec. My data is of national security importance. I could not and cannot, in good conscience, agree to release my botnet intelligence to an organization of hackers.
I stand firm behind my decision not to comply with the demands of LulzSec. I hope this incident will enlighten others as to the true character and intent of this organization.

FBI has gotten the CIA involved and are raiding
[quote=New York Times]F.B.I. Seizes Web Servers, Knocking Sites Offline
By VERNE G. KOPYTOFF
9:22 p.m. | Updated Adding additional comments from DigitalOne.
6:16 p.m. | Updated Adding that the F.B.I. did not comment.
6:55 p.m. | Updated Adding comments from Curbed Network and Instapaper.
7:35 p.m. | Updated Adding comment from DigitalOne.
The F.B.I. seized Web servers in a raid on a data center early Tuesday, causing several Web sites, including those run by the New York publisher Curbed Network, to go offline.
The raid happened at 1:15 a.m. at a hosting facility in Reston, Va., used by DigitalOne, which is based in Switzerland, the company said. The F.B.I. did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the raid.
In an e-mail to one of its clients on Tuesday afternoon, DigitalOne’s chief executive, Sergej Ostroumow, said: “This problem is caused by the F.B.I., not our company. In the night F.B.I. has taken 3 enclosures with equipment plugged into them, possibly including your server — we cannot check it.”
Mr. Ostroumow said that the F.B.I. was only interested in one of the company’s clients but had taken servers used by “tens of clients.”
He wrote: “After F.B.I.’s unprofessional ‘work’ we can not restart our own servers, that’s why our Web site is offline and support doesn’t work.” The company’s staff had been working to solve the problem for the previous 15 hours, he said.
Mr. Ostroumow said in response to e-mailed questions that it was not clear if the issues would be resolved by Wednesday.
A government official who declined to be named said earlier in the day that the F.B.I. was actively investigating the Lulz Security group and any affiliated hackers. The official said the F.B.I. had teamed up with other agencies in this effort, including the Central Intelligence Agency and cybercrime bureaus in Europe.
Mr. Ostroumow declined to name the company targeted by the F.B.I. and said that he did not know why it had drawn their interest. It was also unclear why the agents took more servers with them than they sought, he said.
The sites of the Curbed Network, including popular blogs covering real estate, restaurants and other topics, were all unavailable Tuesday evening. Lockhart Steele, Curbed’s president, said his team realized that the company’s sites were down at around 3 a.m. and contacted DigitalOne. After initially declining to say what had happened, DigitalOne explained that the F.B.I. had raided the data center, Mr. Steele said.
“Our servers happened to be in with some naughty servers,” he said, adding that his sites were not the target of the raid. Curbed is working to get its sites back online, probably by Wednesday.
The raid also affected a server used by Instapaper, a popular service that saves articles for later reading. Marco Arment, Instapaper’s founder, said he lost contact with a server hosted by DigitalOne early on Tuesday. Instapaper’s Web site is still operating but has slowed somewhat. Mr. Arment said he had not heard from DigitalOne or law enforcement, and had no reason to believe that Instapaper was a target of the raid.
Pinboard, a bookmarking site, was operating on a backup server and some of its features were turned off, a post on its site said.
DigitalOne provided all necessary information to pinpoint the servers for a specific I.P. address, Mr. Ostroumow said. However, the agents took entire server racks, perhaps because they mistakenly thought that “one enclosure is = to one server,” he said in an e-mail.
DigitalOne had no employees on-site when the raid took place. The data center operator, from which DigitalOne leases space, passed along the information about the raid three hours after it started with the name of the agent and a phone number to call.
Before learning of the raid, Mr. Ostroumow, who is in Switzerland with the rest of his team, thought the problem was a technical glitch.[/quote]
For those not in the know, by the way, Teampoison's a pretty big deal and one of the best hacker groups out there. They aren't whitehats or doing it for justice though, their doing it because "Fuck those scene fags".
In a nutshell whitehats and Poison know exactly who they are and will be releasing who they are in the coming days. Lulzsec's twitter was already taken over, and Anon's back peddling as fast as humanly possible.
enjoy jail boys, don't drop the soap LOL
Is it time to celebrate?

Freedom!

Your name suits.
Internet justice.
Good, I knew it would someone would go up to the bat and Team Poison doesn't disappoint.
Well it had to happen sooner or later.
I don't see what the big fuss is about. So what if a few hundred thousand passwords were leaked?
[QUOTE=gokuman4594;30621050]I don't see what the big fuss is about. So what if a few hundred thousand passwords were leaked?[/QUOTE]
Read the bottom of the second quote.
Interesting, I can't wait to see what happens here.
it was bound to happen eventually.
And so the world is safe.
But...
For how long?
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
Oh god that picture at the top is great!
before the bandwagon of ignorants jumps in - yes, they use u instead of you, ur instead of your, they say lol, names of their groups look like bunch of random letters and zeroes and ones, they are also able to empty your card and tell how much you love cocks using your fb account
and again, we see how poor our officials are, how "superior" internet agencies couldn't do shit, how any form of justice couldn't reach LulzSec
and everything ends with another hacking group killing other group
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
[QUOTE=gokuman4594;30621050]I don't see what the big fuss is about. So what if a few hundred thousand passwords were leaked?[/QUOTE]
yeah no big fuss few hundreds of thousands passwords with mails leaked + access to lots of paypal and fb accounts NOT A BIG DEAL
The lulz boat is going down, little by little. The end is near.
this is epic hacking win for TP, but because I'm dumber than a script kiddie, what's the difference between white hats and black hats?
I see very little as to how they're sunk and the end is around the corner. Lulzsec has been smart to avoid being caught yet, mainly because they know what a proxy is how it can be used to protect you. Despite people being caught already, it has had very little effect on Lulzsec. I wouldn't bother to celebrate any time soon.
I know some of you are going to rate this dumb, but please just read it and think about it for a few minutes before giving me the rating.
