Thanks to Kiwi Bird for the idea!
So, that asshole neighbor of yours kicked your dog and stepped on your cats tail. After confronting him, he began yelling at you. You just stood there with a small smirk on your face, your revenge is already planned, for he didn't have a garage to park his car in or he's just an idiot and left it outside. Perfect.
Cutting an the Serpentine Belt
Never try this while the engine is running.
----------------------------------------
What you will need
- A sharp cutting tool, box cutters work best.
What you will want
- A pair of gloves (any kind)
- A disposable shirt
What is it?
A serpentine belt, or sometimes called v-belt, multi-v or multi-rib belt, is a belt designed to run most of the peripheral devices in a vehicle such as the AC compressor, alternator, air pump, water pump, etc. On most cars, it is on the front, while smaller vehicles, it is on the side. Cutting this would result in these and 3/4 of all other engine accessories to fail. The serpentine belt is very tough and is often threaded with steel.
Taking the Slice
There are two approches to this. If you're in a public place, or outside his house, you will want to do the second method. If it's in a isolated parking lot or underground place, or somehow you got inside his garage, then you can choose the first method.
Method 1
Lift the hood, you may need a flashlight to see, look for the serpentine belt (picture below), cut it with your tool and close the hood.
Method 2
Move under the vehicle with your cutting tool, reach into the engine and cut the serpentine belt, whether it is on the side or the front. This is what it looks like from above:

Note: The serpentine belt may be covered by a metal cover. If this is the case, you can take it off by unscrewing it/unbolting it, or move onto another way to sabotage a vehicle. Pre-1979 vehicles may have many small belts rather than one large one
The Effects
After the serpentine belt is cut, it will lose all it's tension, stopping it from spinning. This will stop about 3/4 of the engines peripheral accessories from working, including:
- The Alternator: This failing means that the car battery's power will start draining rapidly, within minutes or hours, depending on the vehicle and battery type.
- Power Steering: This helps you turn the steering wheel. When this fails, it will be extremely hard to steer, and almost impossible to do so when the car isn't moving.
- The Water Pump: This is the most critical thing - this thing keeps your engine cool. Without this thing working, the car has about 5 to 10 minutes until the engine overheats and is damaged. It's also something you wouldn't notice, unless you're paying close attention to the engine heat gauge, and know the safe levels. Most people will smoke the motor before noticing the gauge is shooting up.
-----------------------------------------------
Blocking the Exhaust
-----------------------------------------------
Blocking the exhaust is a classic automotive prank, and for some reason, potatoes are often used for this.
What you will need
- Something that fits tightly in the muffler (potato, plastic bottle)
Plugging Her
It's pretty simple - put your blocking object into the muffler and make sure it's in there tight - if not, the pressure from the gas will just shoot it out. You could probably put some hot glue or something in there, too. You could also use foam insulation to block the muffler.
The Effects
When the motor is started, it will either shutdown in a few seconds, or it may start leaking dangerous gasses into the interior of the car. The latter is less likely. This won't cause any permanent damage to the engine, usually, but it's quite possible that it will cause a lot of trouble when they can't figure out why there car keeps starting off a couple seconds!
----------------------------------------------------
Windshield Damage
---------------------------------------------------
Ah, a very expensive and frustrating prank - to whoever you do it too, that is.
What you will need
- Metal shavings, diamond dust, something like that
- Vaseline or some kind of lubricant
Auto Engraving
If you have vaseline or some other type of lubricant, apply it to the path the windshield wipers will take on the windshield, then, lift up the wipers and put some vaseline on the bottom of them. Put your metal shavings or diamond dust on the wiper so it will stick to the wipers.
The Effects
When your target turns on there wipers (or you turn them on), it will scratch there windshield a lot. This is very expensive to get repaired, and if the damage is extensive enough, it can be illegal to drive like that.
Note: You can get diamond dust for drill bits at a hardware store

Good, I'll be needing this for life.
Now this is one I wouldn't be too afraid to try.
For educational purposes, of course.
Thanks!

Uh...
I invite you to do this to my car, so I can break your neck, jack the car up, stuff you up underneath and release the jack.
Bleach in the gas tank
This is great, thank you a lot.

I knew I forgot something.
Que the car alarm...
Someone just got his PhD. in Sabotaging!
Now that I know how to sabotage a building's power and sabotage a car, I'm going to go practice this for "educational purposes". If the cops seem to disagree with my purpose, I'll direct them to this thread
another fun thing to do is take some phosphorus and throw it at a windshield
Make more of these.
These threads are gold.
Dude, you are awesome! Not even kidding, I love your threads.
Now I need to find a westboro baptist church rally....
Thanks, now I can get an A+ on my test! I'll do the first and last one with the power cut and slashing tires as my answers!
This could kill someone OP :colbert:
Trying this at school parking lot on vice predicable's car on Monday.
