I get the weirdest feeling about it too, my work buddy is super hyped but im just.. cautiously optimistic, i feel the games going to throw a curve ball or have a fucked up mechanic that makes it triviaal or something
I'm in that same boat, I'm hyped for it but there's this feeling in my gut telling me to stay away. Just waiting for reviews.... which won't be out until the game is.... yaaaay.

IGN posted that their review is going up Friday at midnight . I'm very hyped for this game, but undecided if I will get the PC version or PS4 version. The past couple of PC ports I have gotten, have been down right horrendous.
So far the reviews seem to be very positive.
TBH I was not expecting this game to be anything special at all, I had assumed monolith was just a stripped down shell of their former selves. Now I'm interested in it.

Reviews are out now. It was 12:01 AM Friday.
Most are very positive.
Also there's an (optional) HD texture pack that requires 6 GB of VRAM lol. Hopefully it is well optimized.
