I recently reinstalled Vista and I wanted to clear alot of space, can I delete the windows.old file after I got what I wanted from it?
I'm pretty sure you can. All the important things should have been installed in Windows. Windows.old has everything from the previous installation. Though I didn't delete mine when I installed 7 just because I know I'll need something from it when I [B]do[/B] delete it.
If your sure you don't need anything from your previous install, yes you can delete it.
Yeah, I'd recommend it. When I installed W7 onto my Vista PC I was all like, oh no those are my old files, I might need them sometime, but the truth is you'll never look at them so just delete it.
Yes, it's a backup of your entire previous install, you can delete it.
