PS3 sound problems with games only?

Hey FP!

I have a problem I can't really find any solution for, not long ago my PS3 suddenly got some audio problems?
When I launch games (PS3-games from original disks) the sound is just scratchy and loud?
But if I try a Blu-ray movie or a CD or just moving around in the menus or something else there are no problems at all with the sound? Only when I try to play games?
What can this be? I tried switching the HDMI cable to other ports, checking sound options and reinstalling updates..
Only other option I can think of is trying a new cable.. That the one I have is damaged somehow?
But I wanted to ask you, all-knowing FP-users, if any of you have had any similar problem and know a fix, before buying a new cable.
