i have 100 euros and I was thinking of buying a new monitor because my old one is slowly dying.
No
What are your current specifications of your computer? Also what monitor are you using?
No, even choppier if it has a higher res
I see thank you guys.I will just buy a gpu.
What is your current spec? and what GPU are you thinking of getting?
if the refresh rate is slow on your old one a new monitor will be smoother.
"It is slowly dying" - what does that mean?
I came in here expecting him to say that he kept trying to play games with just the CPU but it wasn't that well because he couldnt see them at all without a monitor.
:(
Well it could potentially but I don't see it realistically happening. However you should get a new one anyways if your old one is messing up.
Yes, if the resolution is smaller and/or it has a higher refresh rate.
Well, the only thing would be tearing. What's the reaction time of your monitor? If it's above 5ms, you'll definetely notice a difference when buying a new one. I'm assuming you already got an LCD/TFT monitor.

Ugh. It's called response time, and no, he won't notice a difference between 5ms and 8ms. TFT is a type of LCD panel.
