I can't find any good ones and I can't afford guitar rig, what else is out there?
Reaper is pretty free, and so is Audacity, but you'll get shit quality no matter what without at least an alright DI-box.
I like the Edison VST. It comes with FL Studio.

Garageband is not really meant for serious music making, go with logic or protools or something.
Never heard of music creator 6 but it sounds like some toyish preset thing. ACID is decent afaik, but I'd still go with a more known DAW if I had the money.

Only famous people I've hard about who say they use it I think are Justice, and that was probably a joke from them.
Yeah you can record stuff, great for beginners and people who just wanna fuck around, but it really isn't something you can produce very proper mixes with.
not into serious mixing yet, just like effects to fuck around with while I get better and learn
