Yeah, quite a while ago I was into drawing wolves as a friend inspired me to create a DeviantArt account.
After a while, she got me to use GIMP (I'm sure everyone here has heard of it but if not it is an advanced program that helps you add good detail to an image easily) which was a very hard program for me to get used to (I use Paint.Net). After a while, I found that I could not draw an outline of a wolf properly using GIMP, so I decided to go 50/50. I used Paint.net to draw the Wolf and GIMP to add detail.
The results?

That's my old DeviantArt account. Take a look if you want, they aren't the best, I know that, but I tried :P
I'm alot better at drawing now, but not using a computer. Anyway, tell me what you think :D

This is all that needs to be said.

Also these are emo and furry as hell.
I ain't emo or anything, I guess I just drew whatever came to me :P
As I said, these are old.
No, they are weird, stop drawing wolves you furfag.
Clicking on that link i was expecting detailed pencil sketches of realistic wolves and possibly a painting and other doodles, not this paint.net nonsense.

I woulden't be so rash, but this would be a warped summary of my thoughts.
everything is the same, boring, unimaginitve profile pose, witht he wolf doing nothing but looking gay and sitting there, like it's pee froze and he wasn't done yet.
It's sad that your fanart, while being bad is times better than original. Tones are too dark and make everything indistinguishable, everything is lacking depth. You are proof, that anatomy hates furfags.
Start looking up tutorials on everything you do. everything. Stop using your mouse to draw and use paper instead.
Start by trying to achive what mr.Nerdrage tought he'd see. Realism before anything.
Practise on paper till there's nothing left of your pencil but a few splinters and come back to show what you've done.
Looks emo, but not furry.
*sigh*
Guys...I did say they were old pics...come on, drawing realistic wolves is easy now, those pics are old.
And, as I also said, I'm not that good at drawing on a computer. I'd draw a few wolves up for you right now but I don't have a scanner or camera at the moment, so, for now, your stuck with these pictures. Sorry to disappoint you -_-
You asked them what they thought, you got the answer, they did not appease you obviously.
There is a subforum for this kind of crap.
Honestly, your stuff is pretty much crap, and it's just like 90% of deviantart.

Really?
How come you can't draw anything "realistic-looking" in paint?
drawing realistic wolves is easy now
show us those pictures, not this junk.

Now I wouldn't say that
your stuff is pretty much crap
Yeah, I'd probably say that.

No, we can actually make pretty accurate generalizations about your age, skills and end social position, from what we see on your DA.
You gotta be kidding..
Well, why are you showing us your "old pictures"? Dont you want positive feedback?
