I always wanted to play a pure melee build.

Nonetheless, although f2p game are outside my preference, hope Bethesda is exploring a new IP.
Would be pretty rad to see a battle royale game from them, with it being a hot topic nowadays.

"AAA freemium game" is a kinda vague terminology. For all we know this is going to be something like Fallout Shelter (like you said) or Elder Scrolls Legends. They could just be using that classification because it comes from a AAA studio.

It could just be a buzzword.

What I will say however is that it could be a "worst case scenario" for all we know. We'll just have to wait and see.

Do remember that it's the montreal sister studio making this, not Elder Scrolls/Fallout BGS. Though it doesn't necessarily mean Montreal BGS will never do something TES or Fallout related, it's a completely different team that so far as we know will be doing completely different stuff.
