I've said this before, but I'll have to warn you. It took me 10 hours to complete, three of those were cutscenes you couldn't skip, and I hated it. The only thing I found that it did well was the gunplay and the animations.

also voice acting, music and level design.

tbh it only really falls down with the mediocre plot and unskippable cutscenes.
I'm pretty sure the HDD space it takes up is more expensive than the game now.
does the online still have alot of people?
How good is the Coop DLC?
The gameplay is awesome and satisfying, but the pacing is really bad. There seems to be a cutscene after almost every gun fight, and you can't skip them.
Despite that, I still recommend this game because it is really damn fun.
If you don't have them, at least buy Max Payne 1 & 2, since those are also on sale.

It's pretty fun, pretty much Dead Man Walking mode (it's called Dead Men Walking) with 2 people, you get new weapons and stuff throughout a game and open up new areas sorta like in Nazi Zombies in CoD. It'll feel a bit repetitive though due to the limited map selection but it's still a fun ride to go with.
Yes, there is a lot of cutscenes. The writing feels very like a Rockstar game rather than the good old Remedy. But that doesn't make it a bad game. Gameplay and graphics are great. Definitely worth the money. Be sure to buy at least the coop DLC.
BR Murder Sim 3
All jokes aside, it's a fucking great game and I recommend everyone to buy the main game. The Rockstar Pass not so much unless you plan to spend a lot of time on multi.
Why is everyone complaining about unskippable cutscenes? If you're playing through the campaign, the only part with cutscenes, you're involved in the story. Otherwise it's just a run and gun kind of game.
absolutely fantastic game, but the best part was where you're in the bar against the jersey shore guys it's hilarious and badass simultaneously

It's that there's a cutscene for every little thing
I was able to skip all of the cutscenes if I remember correctly....
Also, they're there to load the next section of the level. I think it made it rather seamless and interesting. You're able to skip once it's loaded.
also voice acting, music and level design.

ACTUALLY, they fixed the cutscenes. They added a skip button like, late last year.
BUY IT NOW
Rockstar should market Max Payne 3 as a tourist's guide to Brazil
Oh, okay. Sorry.
Uh so I bought it but it's not working. It gets stuck at "Initializing" after I press the enter key. There is no prompt for Rockstar Social Club. I'm running Windows 8. Help?
I just booted up again(also on W8, previously beat it on vista) and I needed to allow it through windows firewall to work. So let it through windows firewall so it can connect to rockstar social club
i didn't notice an overabundance of cut scenes at all, i was very immersed in the storytelling though. this has been one of my favorite campaigns in a while; the only thing i can really bitch about is the use of locations that seem to be way overused recently, such as the airport, favela, police stations, and night club/rooftop.
I'm not so sure due to my slow download speed
I'm not so sure due to my slow download speed
I downloaded this game for 3 days straight because of my speed, it was worth it.

Bought it, couldn't resist the price

I bought them.
I found out what I've been missing out on all these years.

It's allowed through my firewall.

Also the cutscenes are terrible. They took the great comic book style and replaced it with regular cutscenes that had is horrible man on fire filter which was extremely fucking stupid and annoying with no way to disable it.
Broke down and bought it. Is multiplayer any good? Is it populated by people or is it just a bunch of aimbotters?
Buuuuuuy it.
Even if you don't touch multiplayer at all, it's still fun, albeit a bit tough to go through on a second run due to the abhorrently long, unskippable cutscenes.
it's a really good challenge, too.
