So I have this old PC that I am planning to run a small server off of. The only thing I am a bit stuck with is whether to have intake or exhaust with the fans. It has two top mounted fans and one rear mounted. Is it better to have them as intake or exhaust or a mix?
Just leave them as exhaust. Heat rises and reversing them will just cause more heat retainage.
I'd also put a vent filter on any vents that have air coming into the case to reduce the amount of dust collection.
Allright I'll have them as exhaust then.
