Welcome to class, students!
Class music for today:

Today, we focus on the fine art of Proper Word Usage!
Before we begin, please take a pencil and paper to jot all this down, otherwise please use notepad/Word.

Let us begin:
There,Their, and They're
These words are mixed up all the damn time, so lets go over them!
There - Can mean either,
*In or at that place(Stand over there!)
*to or into that place(went there after church.)
*at that point or stage(Stop right there before you say something you regret!)
*in that matter, respect, or relation(There is where I disagree with you.)
Their - Used to show possession, as in "Their truck crashed into a tree!" or "Their dog bit me yesterday!" If there is only one person who's ownership is being shown, it is simply "his" or "hers"!
They're - Ah, the fabled They're, this one can really strike out some of the more initiate level word users, but you'll show em you mean business next time you whip this one out! They're is simply a contraction form of "They Are", so any time you were to use "they are" as in "they are going to their house" or "they are riding bikes together", you can also simply use They're! In fact, any word that you see an apostrophe in is simply a contraction form of two separate words! fancy that.

To, too, and two
Another common mistaken switchamaroo involves these words, to, too and two!
To- Similiar to there, it is used to show relation. as in "I'm going to the store." or "In order toshow you this I need some help!" You should have this one figured out due to your other teachers shoving it down your ear for 6 years straight.
Too- Used to show something at an excessive degree"TOO MANY PUPPPIIIEESSSS, TOO MANY PPPPUUUHHPIES!", or simply to show something tagging along"I'm going there too!"
Two - It's the number two, as used in "Two plus two equals four!" or "There are two apples here!". In proper english writing(like in your essays you will all be writing me), you MUST write out any number under ten. otherwise you may just use the numeric form!
Finally, we have Your and You're
Your - Used to show possession on you! Such as "Shut your dog up" or "You should watch yourself!"
You're - Think back to They're. What did I tell you class? Yes! All words with an apostrophe in them are simply a contraction of two seperate words! You're is a contraction of You Are! Used like so "You're a douche" or "You're going to lose this race!"
If you've written all this down and have at the least a brief understanding of using the words decribed, congratulations! You receive an A!:eng101:
This is your teacher signing off for now, have a good day class!
Please report any errors found in my lesson today to me and I will fix it in due time if you've proven yourself correct!

I don't trust this. You can't even spell your own username right.
Nice lesson. Next time you should write about when to use an apostrophe or not.
I wonder how many people will actually read this.
Hopefully most of the new people joining will read this, but that won't happen.
I approve of this thread.
