• Cant install windows on GPT partition?

Hey guys i just build my first computer after ordering off of newegg and i had some problems with the installation of windows 7. First off: i am booting off of a flash drive. i am using Novicorp WinToFlash to do so. i have one wd sata hdd. Now booting off of the usb went fine, the setup loaded and everything, however when i had to select the disk partition to install it on it wouldn't let me because it was a GPT partition. so i used my trusty friend google to look for a way to convert it into something that would work. after many guides and youtube videos i have not found a guide that dosent require an operating system to be already on the system for it to work. ive looked into gparted and cmd conversions but i currently cant install an os for me to do that. Please dont troll, im new and out of answers, its already been a week and i still havent been able to use my new computer. :/ any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. and please excuse my use of grammar and spelling its been a late night :)
If you have nothing important on the drive: boot into windows setup, and press custom install. It should take you to a page with all your physical drives on it, and an Advanced Options button. Click on the Advanced Options, then press Delete. This should turn your drive into unallocated space and allow you to install onto it.
