Hey there,
So I got MIP (For underage drinking) on the new years, and I had a court yesterday. Judge suspended my license for 3 months and this is suck balls. Did anyone experienced Driver license suspension for MIP? If so, how was it? And how long did it last.
Let's talk c:

What does MIP stand for?

Missdemeanor in possesion.

What? I always thought it was minor in possession. I'm pretty sure that's what it stands for, but it would be a misdemeanor though cuz its one year or less in jail.
A short-time friend of mine is doing 3 years for getting caught with a couple pounds of dope, another was fined $400 for having like 10 grams of it on him. I know my one buddy regrets it a lot, I havn't talked to the friend in jail since he was locked up...
In australia you cant have alcohol on you if your under the age of 18 (Same goes for buying grog and cigs), if they catch you with alchohol they make you pour it out and usually just send you home
friend of mine dodged it as cops were busting down the door of another kid's apartment by diving out a window and booking it into the woods once. he said there was a screen in the window and he felt like james bond, the adrenaline was enough to prevent him from feeling the soreness of the fall until a day after

Sounds too damn badass
Wow, American laws.
Here, it's legal to have alcohol in your possession before you turn 18. Sure, every once in a while they make you pour out your beer, but only if you're being obnoxious.
Only selling alcohol to a minor is illegal (<18)
Pretty chill around here, you can start drinking beer at 15-16 and then the other stuff at 18. Gotta say, if you're not that obnoxious nor wasted, the police(especially the "carabinieri" side of the police) are pretty relaxed about it.
Yeah, U.S Police is the luck of the draw, really. More often than not, though, you'll get fucked over pretty bad if yer caught with anything. It used to be, way back when, if you were caught with booze they'd take ya home to yer parents and that'll be that.
Really sucks about the license, I feel for you.

Lol one time at a party it was like 4 am, still partying hard, drunk as fuck, cops show up. I'm the only one who's 18, so I didn't have to call my parents. They gave me a sobriety test (which I passed!) and let me drive home wasted.

Regardless of whether you passed or not, you shouldn't have driven home if you were wasted.
Only time I got busted for underage consumption there wasn't shit I could do about it, As I was shirtless in the middle of a field drunk as a monkey hell I blew a .284 after 2 hours in lockup

They were going to let me drive home wasted*
I stayed at the house for a bit and sobered up
