It doesn't make any sense. Anarchy is a total absense of government. Without government, there is disorder. Where there is disorder, people DIE. Also, there really is no way to establish anarchy, because even if you totally get rid of government, people are going to make up their own rules, their own laws, and their own system of rule. People will just build up another government. Anarchy, in my opinion, is utterly pointless. Discuss.
I think that's kinda the point of it.
So we can all do drugs outside the burned down cinema in our 70's style shades listening to "Blink-182", "Simple Plan" and The Sex Pistols. FIGHT THE POWER
What's the point of capitalism?
Anarchy is one of those society types which can only work if every single person would be perfect.
Much like communism.
I think that's kinda the point of it.
So, people want anarchy so that they can kill, rape, or do anything else that they couldn't do because of law?
It's because people that want anarchy disagree with the whole idea of there being a united society, which is what human civilisation is built upon.
I think that's kinda the point of it.
this.
why did you make this thread?
don't like your government? overthrow it and start a better one.
It's a transitional phase between governments, usually marked by extreme acts of human deprivation and degradation.
So, people want anarchy so that they can kill, rape, or do anything else that they couldn't do because of law?
Yes.
So, people want anarchy so that they can kill, rape, or do anything else that they couldn't do because of law?
Exactly why. Sounds kind of fun, doesn't it? :pervert:
So, people want anarchy so that they can kill, rape, or do anything else that they couldn't do because of law?
yes
If there was anarchy, the first people to whine would be the ones who support it today.
If there was anarchy, the first people to whine would be the ones who support it today.
Since, in an awesome ironic twist of fate, those who support it now usually utilize the safety and freedoms giving by a stable government the most.
You kinda' hit the nail on the head. Complete lack of infrastructure and law is the entire point.
[editline]06:41PM[/editline]
i.e. this town aint big enough for the both of us pardner
What would happen is that the people would set up small councils and govern themselves. Total democracy.
Anarchists are nothing but a bunch of whiny kids. Drop them off at some random island like they did in that Lord of the Flies book.
Maybe if we get lucky, someone will drop a big rock on one of their heads too.

Wow, that avatar just made your post hilarious.

Except instead of democracy it's a rape contest.
So, people want anarchy so that they can kill, rape, or do anything else that they couldn't do because of law?
Yes, but not necessarily. It's basically an extremely liberal viewpoint; the idea that everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want, no restrictions, pure unadulterated freedom. Of course, there's the risk of someone capturing you and forcing you into slavery, but that's not seen as a loss of freedom in an anarchists eyes, because you still have the ability to do whatever is possible given your environment. For instance, if you fall into a hole, you wouldn't say that you have less freedom, you just have less possibilities.
Which also means that technically, anarchy is a state of mind. We are all free to do whatever we have the possibility to do; that doesn't change if you are living in a government or anarchy.
People are stupid.
They think they can survive without laws.
Trust me you can't.
Anarchy doesn't really serve anyone.
A functional society is one where certain people have specialized jobs. That way one guy can make houses, 5 can grow food, one can clean, one can hunt, one can lead. When you have specialized jobs people become better at what they do, and the standard of living increases. With no law and no government people take the easy jobs or they don't take a job, or they steal or kill, eventually this destructive society gets nothing done and the standard of living goes down.
History will tell us this.
Except instead of democracy it's a rape contest.
I'm up for it. :v:
Anarchist just don't remember that we have already been in anarchy. Going into anarchy will make some people go together and make a ruling party (people ALWAYS do this, it's human nature) and then they are back to where we are now.
What would happen is that the people would set up small councils and govern themselves. Total democracy.
Except that wouldn't be anarchy.
ITT people don't realize anarchy is not a permanent state, instead a temporary transitional phase that only exists until a new form of law and government is established.
Anarchy does not last.
The point of anarchy is to give trailer trash and losers something to brand on themselves and their backpacks so they feel like they are independent and "sophisticated" in this world. The other point is so said trailer trash and losers can blind themselves with false "coolness" by wearing an anarchy symbol, even though any social person knows anarchy is fucking retarded and is in fact anti-cool.

A transistional rape phase.
why do you think no country in the world has seriously tried anarchy

Exactly.
But the proponents of it don't think this way.
Basically, No laws, no taxes, no government = good times
why do you think no country in the world has seriously tried anarchy
Except Somalia
[editline]06:54PM[/editline]
And Somalia is doing so well!
